This amazing sensory bin is the perfect way to celebrate summer! The base material is green split peas, which are sooooo satisfying to play with! They're cool to the touch, smooth, and make a wonderful sound when you swish them around with your hands. The felt picnic basket is handmade by Feed The Fish CO, another SF Bay Area local maker, and come in a variety of beautiful colors. There's play food included, two paper plates, and a few ants and ladybugs to complete the picnic! The fine motor tools help strengthen pencil-grasp muscles and aid in the play.

Sensory bins are a great way to keep your child engaged and learning for hours on end! Each Messy Play Sensory Bin is reusable and contains themed materials and props to allow for endless creativity and dramatic play, as well as fine motor development, cognition skills, and much more. The best way to explore all the various themes is through a monthly subscription

This Picnic Sensory Bin includes 42 oz green split peas, themed toys and props, and 2 fine motor tools. Your child will LOVE digging through the split peas to find all the toys, and you can add your own toys to extend the play too!

My 3 year-old LOVED it!!!

Wow! We just got this kit in the mail, and my curious little 3 year-old absolutely loves it! He had so much fun setting up the food on the plates and using the tools to scoop up the split peas. He hid all of the bugs and ants in the “grass” and searched for each one. If it weren’t for bedtime, he would have spent hours playing with his picnic! I highly recommend this for any kiddo!
