Messy Play Classes

Messy Play Classes with Robin Imholte at Mon Amie Harlow in Los Gatos CA

Messy Play class curriculum is now LIVE at various locations in California, and we're looking for more instructors and locations to bring the fun! Classes are in multiple formats, from weekly drop-in classes to themed six week series. We have multiple series available, some of which are seasonal and others that are not. Messy Play classes are hosted at the following locations:

 

  • Boulder Creek, CA, with Robin herself! Check those out and register here
  • The Circle Family Center in Aptos, CA 
  • San Jose Public Library events (free, walk in):
    • 5/3 Mt Pleasant Neighborhood Library: DIY Playdough Soap 12:30-1:30pm
    • 5/20 Edenvale Library: DIY Colored Rice 4-5pm
    • 6/1 Alviso Library: DIY Sensory Bottles 2-3pm
  • Music in the Valley: May 10th 11-6
    • The Messy Play crew will be on site providing FREE art projects for kids all day long! We'll be changing up the activities throughout the day. 
  • Boulder Creek local events:
    • First Fridays: Find Robin in the Kids Zone on Forest St! Always free activities, occasionally some paid as well. 5-8pm
      • May 2nd: Spring Carnival
      • June 6th: Town Pride
      • August 1: Chalk It Up!
      • September 5: (theme TBD)
      • October 3: Spooktacular
    • Bear Creek Pool Friday Nights: Join Robin for some amazingly silly activities at the BCRPD pool! Membership or drop in payment required. 4:30-7pm.
      • June 13th: Oobleck Pool: can you run across without sinking?
      • July 25th: Whacky painting- try salad spinner painting, pulled string art, splatter painting, and more!
      • August 22nd: DIY Colored Rice- make your own vibrantly colored rice for sensory play at home!
    • Water Park for a Day: More details coming soon, but save the date for Labor Day weekend 2025!!!!
