Each 4.5oz jar of homemade, scented playdough is made of six simple ingredients: flour, salt, coconut oil, cream of tartar, edible fragrance, and cosmetic-grade thermochromic powder. As playdough can be a choking hazard, we recommend this product for kids ages 3+. One jar will offer up to six months of repeated sensory play! Just have your little one put it back in the container and seal the lid tight. Add water if needed to keep it soft and squishy.

With these non-toxic playdough sets, you can teach your kiddos all about the science of thermochromic reactions! The color change occurs around 60 degrees F, so try putting it in the fridge to cool it down and then squishing it with your hands to warm it up. The cold color is listed first. For example, Winter Berry will be red at temperatures below 60F and change to pink when warmed up. Note that Sweater Weather is a more gradual change and goes from bright pink to dark purple.
