Looking for a fun and creative way to dye easter eggs this spring? We've got you covered!

Dye wooden eggs with SCIENCE! Use baking soda, liquid watercolors, and citric acid to dye 3 wooden eggs and enjoy the fizzing chemical reaction!

This mini activity kit includes 3 wooden eggs (2 natural wood color, 1 white), baking soda, citric acid, 3 bottles of liquid watercolors (turquoise, magenta and purple), mixing containers, and a squeeze bottle.

Note: the white egg may retain some dye, but most of it will wash off. This is because it's already coated in paint so the dye isn't absorbed in. Feel free to use it in this experiment and then color it another way, with more permanent paint or paint markers! It's still fun to experiment on, may lead to questions about why the color didn't stay, and makes for a fun "cleaning" activity when the dye washes off!
